Barry

Dear Barry,

Shock runs in our blood

At the sight of your successor, a dud.

How can you leave us all alone

Under the leadership of a man whose primary interest is his phone.

After eight years at the head of all,

You’ve finally taken your fall.

You, who many a time has ignored taking a snore,

In exchange for spending that time to do more.

Perhaps there’s still hope for us,

Your children, who have just missed the bus

To a land where equality reigns

Instead of the hands of the inane.
