Barry Drive

Sometimes all we do is lay in bed

Other times he’s letting me braid his hair

He’ll rub my back and hold my hand

And then there’s other time when we'll sit outside and stare.

At the stars or the cars that pass by.

Sometimes we talk about everything,

And other times we sit there silently.

He gets me and I get him.

We never judge each other,

And we’re always there for one another.

Sometimes we'll drink a beer

And discuss conspiracy theories.

Or sometimes we'll open some tequila,

And start dancing around.

I can’t say where I’ll be in a year,

But I really hope it’s somewhere near here.
