Bars and stars

She's drunk at the bars
I'm here sitting on stoops staring at stars
As the people and  cars go by
Every attempt  I'd try
Would just  crash, burn, and fail
Maybe it just wasn't meant
Since I could never prevail
I would never learn
Liquor before beer
After a few drinks
We just won't care
We won't be what she thinks
We just Won't. Be there
Cease to exist
Like every opportunity I  just missed
