i'm not sure that i understand

exactly what happened.

you promised me a home

but you left me abandoned.

was i not good enough?

did i do something wrong?

just please explain to me

or at least take my calls...

hasn't anyone ever told you

not to make empty promises?

especially to someone

as hopelessly hopeful as me.
