Batman

He comes out at night,

Dark, and mysterious,

He fights all crimes in the city,

protecting the innocent from

Bombings, to robberies,

Murder to saving hostages,

He never shows his identity,

and he is accused of things he has never done,

But he takes it all,

He is seen, and sometimes, disappears for long periods of time

He serves justice, but he never kills,

Here is the caped crusader,

saving the city from

One crime after another.

“I see a beautiful city and a brilliant people rising from this abyss. I see the lives for which I lay down my life, peaceful, useful, prosperous and happy. I see that I hold a sanctuary in their hearts, and in the hearts of their descendants, generations hence. It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.” ―Charles Dickens
