Battered Women's Shelter


Walk faster.

Wait no slow down

Will he notice?

Of course he will, I can't escape this.

Step, step.

So close now almost there.

Squeeze.

Does he know? He can't know.

"-are you okay Honey?

He knows!

Breathe, step, breathe, step.

Mumbled reply, step, step.

I can see it now.

Okay slow down.

Step, "Battered Women's Shelter," Step, step.
