The Battle
Again she walks into her house
To all the screaming and shouting
Although she knows whatever she says
Won’t keep them from fighting
She still begs and begs
Then runs to her room
Hopes and prays to God that it will be over soon
The day she prayed for has finally come
A new start to life has now began
It’s hard to forget
To not see them together
But in the end it all turned out better
Turns out their differences tore them apart
From all the bad times a new friendship
Will hopefully start
A strong child overcame it all
At times she was weak but never chose to fall
She fought for her future, always standing tall
With time it will show how her strength will pay off
