Battle of the 3
Amidst the past events my heart, mind and the strength to do what’s right; are at an all time never ending bloody battle.Who will win,you ask? Yet the golden question(s) are:Will this battle end??or Turn into an all out war. My heart says open up and let things pour in, my mind says do not ignore the red flags, and my strength to do what’s right says just leave with such elegance.Who and which shall I listen and choose. As I weep and internalize the pain, the fear, the agony of trusting ;my external is screaming and hollering that I’m physically through. As my mind races, heart beat begins to become a slow unrhythmic cry, and my strength badly beaten and bruised I still stand 5’7.Is it a smile or look of balance upon this blemished face gazing at my reflection to see what stares back at me. The image of me ^me oh my^begins to run like a river. As I try to fix this picture;I can’t.You see because this picture is not of me.It is just the upcoming future of me you see. This deteriorating life of broken trust and unfulfilled promises is what life has dwindled to be for my reflection. Oh life;oh love how could you abandon your vessel? I am not whole without you spirit
,I can’t live or even be me. This life, this love, this battle or even war shows me who I am.So please forgive me sir knight. I hope your rescue is not in vein. Only time will tell of my forever. My forever intertwined with this love un-polished yet shined PAIN….

Your Poem's Voice
Primarily personal/autobiographical struggle with trust and identity, minimal abstraction.
Extremely dense; multiple competing ideas per line, rapid emotional/philosophical shifts.
Predominantly negative: pain, agony, abandonment, broken trust, deterioration dominate.
High kinetic intensity via fragmented syntax, exclamation marks, emotional escalation, internal screaming.
Approximately 27-28 lines; falls in 16-30 range.
Multiple metaphors (battle/war, river, mirror/reflection), personification (heart/mind/strength as agents).
Pure lyric internal voice; introspective monologue with no narrative or dramatic personas.
