Battle

She is a bully, no?

My body is plentiful,

And I know what I am

But you called me out of my name

So hurt and put to shame.

Debate rattled between us

Why must we fuss?

Thought the connection was open

But no, it was rather broken.

Felt damaged and lost

Went crazy and exhaust

How do you do without what you need?

You left my side with no feed.

Am I supposed to regret my outburst?

Though I am still hurt.

You’re not hurt, you’re just angry

Angry at me for expressing my feelings.

No I’m not sorry,

My mind went into a safari.

Those who are important to you

Should not hurt you as much as they do

Right? Think again.

She’s not your friend.

She’s your teacher and leader.

You’re the student and believer.

Though she made me upset,

I have to control my mindset.

If it weren’t for you

What would I do?

All the time, you make me wonder.

Now I know for sure,

You are the sunshine of my life.

Forever, in my heart you are

Our ties will never be far.

I cannot live a life

If you were not my knife

Sharpen me, guide me

For you are my mommy.
