Battle Blood

Flash and clash of steel
In battle I truly feel alive, unafraid
As blood courses down my blade
When they fall I know I'm best
Every scar is a trophy on my chest
Do you feel it? That burning fire
It's the heat of thrilling desire

John Perez

I am an unpublished poet and have been writing for the past two years. I have many poems but am hesitant to share online but gladly share in person. I still write because of all those that have enjoyed reading my writing.
