A Battle That Can't Be Won

A Battle That Can’t Be Won

It takes so many:

You don’t even know it’s coming

There’s so many,

Heading to different places;

One by one another life gone.

It takes so many;

People hope and hope it won’t be them,

One by one another life gone.

It takes so many;

Fighting and Fighting;

One by one another life gone.

It takes so many;

Hoping this cure will work for them,

One by one another life gone.

It takes so many;

People falling apart,

One by one another life gone.

It takes so many;

Breaking hearts and lives on a daily,

One by one another life gone.

A Battle That Can’t Be Won.
