Battle Scars

All the things he's been through,

The battles that he's faced,

Will he be here tomorrow,

Or will he give in to the pain?

The lies that you told him weren't the truth,

Look at his battle scars,

Will you remember this,

Or will you remember what's written in the stars?

He thought that he could not win,

After everything he's been through,

Will this be his second chance,

Or will he just lose?

The battle scars are visible to the world,

Now everyone who put you down,

Will hate you more,

Or know why you held your ground.
