Battleground

Death and Destruction

again and again

Will it ever stop..... Will it ever end?

War is terrible

Dark and blue

When will we learn what to do?

Each fallen solider

Every fallen star.

The battles we've lost

And victories gained.

Silent as tears

Yet thundering as a tsunami,

Battlegrounds littered with graves

It's no good for anybody

But still we cave.....

Over and over

Time and time again

We never forget the mistakes we've made,

We are all the same.

It goes in a circle,

Round and round.

We all live in a battleground.
