You dance around the town A smile lights your face Your feet float just above the ground, never fully touching down The skirt spins out around you like a spider's gossamer web, The colors of a butterfly wing that carries me to bed The sun goes down as you waltz through the door Calling over to me to grab hold of your hand And help you find where the sailboat stars land I took you away and showed you that day, That sailboats become stars when they've nowhere more To be
