To Be

Inspiration is scarce

I like the way the screens

Reflect our hollow souls

It lets me see the dwindling

Stars in their eyes

But I guess if you asked me

I find Inspiration

(that guy is hard to find)

In the way a dewdrop settles

quiet, crystalline,

On the petal of a rose

And the possibility of a bated breath.
