To Be All

Broken people in broken lives

this is what I see through my eyes

to be me I must be free.

A bird in a broken cage

with a single touch it can fall

for without a true support this bird will lose it all.

A mother may croon and a father may call,

but everyday those noises mean

nothing at all.

If you saw this bird you wouldn't

see a broken cage or a broken bird,

for this bird can sing with any word so light and

clear like daylight ringing.

Only to be lost everyday still bright and singing.

E Wells

Right now I don't know what's going on with my life it seems to be being flipped upside down. I hate it especially since the catalyst for all this doesn't belong in my life.
