Be aware: I am not normal

Have you ever been told to just "stop"?

To just have a halt to the way you think or act or even look.

To be more responsible, to concentrate, to be better

This might feel like a proposal to change your entire existence in a moment.

But... what if you just can't change?

You try and try time and time again to be normal, be loved by everyone, but you can't even love yourself.

This flaw you can't decipher might not even be a flaw at all, but rather a construct from society of being broken.

Some would call it a disibility, others an illness, I call it part of me.

Why can't you just make friends, worry less, be less blue?

Be adequate, Be aceptable, Stop being you

People all around not validating your problems, not validating you because you aren't like them or maybe you seem too perfect.

Therapy is for the cracked, the crazy, the ones that belong in an insane asylum... all lies I would hear from my parents.

Society is filled with prevalent issues like discrimnation, racism, domestic abuse, economic disparity, poverty, and many others.

Many have asked how to fix the cause, but what about repairing the effects... developed mental illnesses.

A world where these fragments of you become so relevant every day needs to scream out the truth:

Your judgement cripples me,

Your love aids me,

Here's the key,

Acceptance
