To Be a Bee

To be a bee would be the life for me,

For a world without bees would be lifeless.

No pollen, no flowers,

Not a plant to be showered,

A dry, airless land,

Not a soul with a breath,

No nectar, no honey:

Extinct Sweetness.

But to be that bee...

That brings life to the world,

That takes the fruit of one

And scatters it over another,

Blending the greatness of a garden

Into a world of beautiful complexity.

All this at the wings of a simple bee...

Well thats what we all should be.
