Be Careful When You Listen to Ed Sheeran

Ed has a soul made of wisps of love and kisses.

His hair is a fiery orange making +’s and x’s as they cross.

Sheeran is his last name because a she always runs in his songs.

Whether he picks up a guitar or a violin,

Foot on a loop pedal or not,

Rapping so much as talking fast,

His accent present in his lyrics,

The songs he writes are always poetic.

His riffs make you dance like a hippie in the 60s.

Love is the most used topic but Ed re-wraps it

In scraps of sadness, longing, remembrance.

Be careful when you listen to Ed’s music because you will realize that

Feelings are never overrated,

You can do so much more with a guitar,

T-shirts are better than suits,

Arrogance runs through our veins, and

Love is always new.  Always.

So when you listen to Ed Sheeran,

Do yourself a favor and guard your heart.

The hardest of rocks will melt and so will you.

Please be careful when you listen to Ed Sheeran because

You might realize love.

And they haven’t come up with Band-Aids for heartbreak yet.
