Who am I in this world?

This person I see in the mirror.

Is this supposed to be the way I live?

Or am I meant for something greater.

Am I limiting my self to standards of society?

Or can I change the world?

Stuck in a world where people don’t understand me.

They call me weird and different

And don’t understand the way I see the world

The beauty of life and nature

They way I love and want to be loved

The pain I feel

The heartache of a good soul

A soul that forgives

Am I too fragile for this cruel world?

Or can I take the pain and make a difference

Can I help those in need?

The ones who feel pain,

And make them happy to forget their pain.

I will be a nurse and share my love

And make a change in the world.
