Be Compassionate

Sometimes words can be tossed,

Their actual meanings lost.

Sometimes words are hand selected,

Even through they can get misdirected.

But the thing is,

whatever you are trying to say,

those are the things that can make someone's day.

Therefore put more thought into it than normal,

Calm down, it doesn't have to be formal.

The way you say things has a big impact

Some great while others lack.

Now all I can ask is to take your time

No need to rush

This is your prime.

When you think ahead before you speak

Things come easier than you think.

Someone might have told you this,

perhaps not;

Nobody can go wrong with a little thought.

Try to make someone smile

Maybe it'll make them stay awhile.
