To Be Continued

for every hello, there is an inevitable goodbye

both can be expected and/or unexpected

but inbetween every hello and goodbye

there is always a "to be continued"

which can leave you as raw & reeling

as the most painful goodbye

but most of all it can leave you hopeful

hopeful that the to be continued you feared

oh so deeply

could transform into an additional hello

but who knows?

i guess the outcome is to be continued.
