Be the Difference

You say you want us to change the world and all that other bull

But how can you expect a change to happen when you don't even care

So much for your degree and the letters next to your name

You all are fake and we students aren't the ones to blame

We just come to school with the old textbooks and listen to your boring lectures

Womp Womp Womp Womp yeah just like Charlie Brown's professor

Most of y'all dread next September, don't worry we're not too excited about dealing with you guys for the next couple semesters

Technology has changed the world but it hasn't changed how some teachers feel about us students

"Be the difference that you want to make" some say but how can we if we cant even have a god given break

"I give you homework so you can learn what was taught in class" we wouldn't need homework if you would get off you ass

What we need are teachers that care not someone who is only worried about what they're going to do when they are "free" from work

I'm sorry this is your profession but since you're here take a seat and listen to what your students need

A person who wants their students to be the best they can be

Succeed and be even more scholarly than the person they see on TV

Strive and reach past the stars

Teach them to be book smart, street smart, and to have common sense

Some teachers fail to realize that although they didn't sign up to be a parent,

Within the classroom that what you are to the starving children

They are starving for knowledge

So why not be the voice that causes them to make a difference.

We don't want you if you're just here for the money

We need you to help us to be the difference
