To Be Equal in Man's Eyes

Location

They look at the two differently

Judging, favoring

The first, they feel, deserves a ten

He was strong, persuasive, and smooth

The second, they discuss, deserves a six

She was bossy, pushy, and vain

But they give her a ten to appease her

Because after all, nobody likes sexists

But America can’t do anything about the stereotypes

That run like words on a typewriter

Across people’s minds.
