To be freer than a bird
not to worry about
whether I need
to
be
in
line
or if I need to spend all of my time
just to concoct the perfect rhyme
no need to harmonize with the common sounds
no judgment if you want to
no penalty if you can’t
no grade to make
no record to break
no need to finish a sente-
because if the moment is gone, let it go
it is free now, like you
