Be Grateful

I'm learning how to be happy and joyful in bad times, but I am a slow learner Teach me oh Lord for I don't know my way, there is so much I want to say Even when things seem like they are falling apart I have to be strong I have to be in control of my feelings Act on faith, not by sight Do what's right It is definitely not easy and it's a constant struggle But I can't get through this life if everything bad affects me I don't want to be  a downer I want to be a joy to be around I want my love and laughter to be infectious If I am truly grateful for everything God has given me, I have to stop complaining, Because that hurts God's feelings He loves me and never hurts me I look so much better when I smile When I laugh, I don't like to cry Don't like to hold my emotions in But I do it anyway, It's hard to control myself But that doesn't mean it's impossible If I can control my thoughts, then I can control my emotions Positivity must radiate from within me like a burning sun Joy and peace, I ask God for both Because I really need them I need God's strength everyday to get through the day I am very blessed, Blessed to see another day, I'm grateful for Jesus, for my health, For my family, for my boyfriend Joshua, I am a loner for a reason: Maybe I push people away...who knows? There's that negativity again, rearing its ugly head, trying to break out, But I'm gonna kill that negativity within me, I'm gonna be free, full of positive energy I'm gonna be grateful for the life that God has given me, continue to work hard, keep my faith strong, love everyone no matter how they treat me without being a fool, just be a better person. Love myself without boundaries. Thank you Lord for loving me just the way I am without trying to change me, without criticizing me, just accepting everything I am and will be. Thank you Lord. I am grateful.
