To be as great..
A dream is where it all started,
the thought fluttering in my mind.
Like a moth searching for the only source of light,
Just like the moth what of died as soon as it reached the light,
so would’ve my dream as soon as it tried to become a reality.
If not for my stepmother this fate would of become a reality .
She was not the fairest maiden of the land,
but I dared to believe that she was the smartest.
Put any problem ahead of her,
she would turn it to ash.
When she meet me I was the biggest catastrophe she had ever seen.
With the fierceness of a mother bear,
She whacked some sense into me.
The dream that was fluttering in my mind became suddenly clear as ice.
I neeeded to be as determined as a cat for catnip,
to reach my goal to establish a safe environment for horses.
Then I looked at my step mother,
and inspired to be just as great as she was.
I wish to be strong and assertive of all my opinions,
I wished oh I wished to be just as brilliant as she is.
She has always inspired me,
and that just magnified as the years went on.
My stepmother is the person I inspired to be!
Day in and day out!
