Be Happy, Love Drizella
Dear Cinderella, congratulations
a time of jubilation
has finally come.
You've come so far from ashes-
from our mother's lashes-
from eating our crumbs
You were not the only victim.
I'm sorry I was wicked,
I had no choice
Her hatred shifted towards you
thus, I was not in view
I could avoid
Her cutting tongue and bruising hand-
her cold eyes, her stoic stance.
I was terrified.
If I were braver, we'd have run away
from the vicious Lady Tremaine
side by side.
I pray that your ever after
is full of happy endeavors-
is full of love.
The fact that one of us could defeat her
and learn to live in laughter...
That is enough.
To my dear sister, Cinderella,
Be happy, love Drizella.
