to be heard
I write to find the truth of who I am and what is real,
The heart only beats the to the rhythm of what is true,
Never again will I be confused and torn up by my emotions or the emotions of others,
And never again will I be blindsided by who society tells me I am,
I write to lend a voice to those who can't speak, for those who are trapped, and for those who are weak minded,
To open a window to see into a light brighter then what was thought possible,
To challenge the thoughts of what is "normal" and the standards which we live by,
I write because I am a leader and I have a duty to express, in written word, what it feels like to not be heard.
