To Be Heard

Rushing through a sea of faces Lost in sight and sound A flooding of life erases We push against conforming spaces Closing all around Rushing through a sea of faces The sunny days have been replaced Nightmarish dreams abound A flooding of life erases Cycling through life’s changing phases Never touching down Rushing through a sea of faces Reaching towards God’s promised graces Emptiness resounds A flooding of life erases The player has used all his aces Retire to the ground Silence in the sea of faces A flooding of life erases
