To Be Heard

The Fairytale seemed so easy. Just a million teardrops away or maybe you know he'd love me if my skin was lighter, if my hair was blonder, or if my gap had been filled in earlier.  A love that was communicated amd formed through the mouth and perhaps heart of someone else and I sit here, graduation completed, holding on to my intimacy with my Heavenly Father to get me through all of your unhealed needles. To fall in love with the idea and/or dream of you held more in my heart than the overlooked girl could ever hold. This is our reality and you care more about being famous around town than being genuinly around. I wasn't good enough for the Prince of high school but I'm more than good enough for the loving King of this fallen, though hopeful world.Enough is enough. More than enough. I am enough.
