To be heard

What's in a word? A sentence?

What's it worth to speak your mind when nobody can hear you.

To be heard.

I want to scream, shout!

But they are all deaf in their ignorance.

To be heard.

Conveying messages of peace and love,

Powerful and heartfelt but meaningless to the hardened hearts.

To be heard.

Get their attention; show them what you speak of,

And then they will be willing to open their ears.

Are you listening?
