To Be Heard

I nod eagerly to the words that you say

Putting my opinions, thoughts, beliefs, Wants

on the shelf for No day

If only To Be Heard

Yes, I comply is all that you want to hear

For me to do what is expect is all that you hold dear

If only To Be Heard

My face at times is a false mask

That I wear to conceal the voice of expression

In turn I have a small black hole of hate, anger, and depression

If only To Be Heard

I am invisible and The Other speaks

An adaptation to your blind environment

and in it

I have become a voice-less bird

If only To Be Heard
