To Be Heard: The Recipe for Destiny

To be heard,
Is not to hear a single word,
Nor to chirp like a bird.

To be heard,

Is to express yourself.
Life has a limited time on the shelf,
Sometimes short as an elf.

To be heard,

Is not be called a nerd,

Or to be lured,

In by misleading lies and alibis.

To be heard,

Is to set the the truth free.

And to be,

What you always wanted to be!

To be heard,

Is to share your story,

No matter if people find it boring

But some might be listening

While you’re glistening.

To be heard,

Is to express yourself.

And not to ask for help,

No matter how many times you try and yelp.

To be heard,
Is to be heard.

To turn back

the clock of destiny

by letting your words be the recipe!
