When lights are out,

My mind just swirls

Thinking and thinking

I can change the world

Paper my platform

Writing my muse

Words are the matches

That lit this fuse

To never stop

Is to be inspired

Writing and writing

I’ll never get tired

What inspires me?

Inspiring others

Not only my neighbors

But their friends and their mothers

Once this fire is lighted

It never will cease

I want to share it with all

So they’ll chase their dreams
