To Be Just Like You

Going unnoticed to those that pass,

the feathers that pile pain's unhappiness.

You carry your feathers and the feathers of others,

but it is your strife you keep undercover.

Through loss of unconditional love,

and only betrayals to speak of.

There is little room left for hope,

as you rise to unimaginable height,

you are not the one to give up the fight.

No matter the feeling of dread that lingers,

You created a world unbeknownst to the best thinks.

A world were you create peace,

Among those that seek their own release.

To not forget the past that haunts you

But use it the the future upon you.

There has never been a stronger force,

Than the one created by your driving source.

To be like you is to find the light

not at the end of the tunnel.

To be like you is to find light

within as you succeed in your struggle.
