To be me

I am a mother of one

divorced at so young

always trying to be better

always striving to be greater

never knowing where to turn next

but always knowing you never can't stop

the wheels keep turning whether your ready or not

making people laugh but scared on the inside

to fall and fail would be my dream's demise

I shall stumble but never falter

to much riding on this to lay down and cry

I must get up and try

take a different path or alley

turn a different direction

continue to look forward

never looking back

this is my life and I shall make it last
