To Be Me

To be me is to be a dreamer

Dreaming of things that are so much bigger

than the things I currently know and see

Full of ideas, bursting at the seams

To be me is to be in a rush, but never running

To have big goals, but to fall short of something

To be me is to be kind and caring

Always listening to those who are sharing

To live a care free life, full of worrys

To lie in the sand, only to be buried

To be me is to strive to make others feel happy and gay

To always try and brighten their day

To be me is to have flaws

To see each one and take a moment to pause

Each one is part me, this is who I am

It may be hard for some to understand

Even with these flaws I can still do anything I believe I can do

And no matter what anyone says or what you may think

You can too
