Be My Flawless Self

Location

People constantly encourage me

To be my flawless self.

I am flawed:

I don’t believe in myself,

I live in the past.

I’m getting better,

But I am flawed.

I can’t change who I am:

My sense of self immoveable.

Determined by forces around me,

I can’t change who I am.

I can’t change what I’ve done:

It’s already happened.

Whether I’m proud or sorry,

I can’t change what I’ve done.

I can’t be a better person:

It’s difficult to improve

Upon perceived imperfections.

I can’t be a better person.

I encourage myself:

Be someone else.

Analyze my past.

Be perfect,

I constantly encourage myself.

People encourage me:

Be me,

Move on.

Be unique,

People constantly encourage me.

People constantly encourage me

To be my flawless self.
