To Be Myself

Self-seen

The strongest I've ever been

A societal strain

Recites lies and prompts pain

But I

Refuse the abuse

Fight hostility with happiness

And affliction with bliss

To be durable

And capable

Are my own qualities

If I am flawed to others

I am flawless to me.
