To Be Part of It All

lying on a

stony little moon

absentmindedly orbiting some

distant swirling marble

of colored gases

watching the stars

fly over me

like phosphorescent plankton

mingling with the

deep dark cosmos

of the ocean

nothing but silence

peace, serenity, tranquility

labyrinthine streams of

constellations and galaxies

swirling away, pulsating

effervescent and undulating

just twinkling stars

how fantastically magnificent

to be part

of this universe

of this life

of this time

to be part

of it all
