To Be a Poet For the Day

"College is expensive" I would say,

So let me be a poet for the day.

A penny earned and a penny saved

No money left to spend away.

"College is expensive" I would say,

So let me be a poet for the day.

"Keep on saving" I huff and puff

but still I know its not enough.

"College is expensive" I would say,

So let me be a poet for the day.

This simple poem, is to simply state

That college seems out of my fate

"College is expensive" I would say,

So let me be a poet for the day.
