Be The Power

To think that a kid Who sits next to you in school Couldn't always be there People thought he was a fool But why? You ask yourself For he's a person too A guy who has feelings Just like me and you His skin may be of chocolate And mine may be of snow But why does color matter When his heart is oh so full So forget about those bad times When many would just hate Be the power of the people And don't discriminate Reach out your hand to his And squeeze it in your own Just give him a precious smile He shouldn't be alone Now reach out to your brothers And all your sisters too Remember all are equal Despise how alike they are to you
