Be Quiet

I see your mouth open,

watch your face contort as your speak,

I try so hard to understand,

what you want me to realize.

But every time you make a noise,

my head spins and refuses to listen,

please stop talking and wasting my time,

you are making my heart and mind hurt.

It's not really your fault,

but my head pounds and thrums,

so if you'd kindly shut your mouth,

I'd be forever glad for the favor.
