To be somebody 

anybody

What would that require ?

Being apart of a club ?

Grabing a pen and writin' ?

or actin all sassy with the teachers 

actin' like a thug?

Or could it just require somethin'

something small 

like being yourself

'not needing to act like you got it all.

This generation,yea the whole thing

just likes talkin about Gen Z- X

but what about the rest?

Why can't I be somebody just by being myself

Sayin "I don't liike you"

When its clear enough.

Why kids gotts be so hardheaded 

and not know what it means to take a gun.

Knowing dointg this will put you in jail

or get you shot n' killed 

Look we in  the bronx 

the BX the place where a whole lotta shit happens 

And bein nobody is the safest thing of all 

but what about wanting to be heard

needing to be listend to when the time is right.

Nobodys gonna just not listen to you 

you know if your crazy enough your point will get across defentily
