To be a Tree

I wonder, What would it be like to be a tree? Alive yet immobile Are trees sad like the look of the willow? Or, do trees even have emotions at all? Could I sit and enjoy the wind rustle my branches? Could I feel pain as a woodpecker nests in my trunk? Would I sleep, Or, just have a constant awareness of the world? Life as a tree would be different. In the fall, I shed my "clothes", and willingly freeze through the winter. Could I communicate? Or would I be alone among my brethren?
