To be Truly Free

Location

See the dandelion snow?

Free they say.

Carelessly drifting in the warm breeze,

Thoughtlessly gliding along,

Worry free.

Where to go and when to land?

No bother,

No need to think.

Just swept along by Aeolus.

No, I whisper to myself, No.

See the great bird?

Free I say.

Wonderfully gliding upon the wind,

Then rebelliously diving towards the earth.

Resting on a branch,

Soaring though the sky,

Master to its own destination.

Aeolus merely a support under its capable wings.

Free I whisper to myself. Truly free.

Soaring free,

Gliding free,

Flying free.

Free.

Free.

Free, I shout to the wind.
