TO BE IS TO WANT

Reality vanishes a white background
Thoughtful echoes whispering as clouds
A voice heard a voice destroyed

A spirit in search of blissful calm
To once again feel alive
And remember the joy of human pride

Though the world flipped upside down
With lust for life fading out
Days seemingly endless, nights without rest

The thought of living full of distress
Causes for a wish to make things end
A mind wanting to be laid to rest
