To Be Without Love

To be without love

Is to be without life

If love was taken

I may be mistaken

For an animal

With only a brain

I would go insane

To be without love

Is to be without courage

To not take a stand

To give them your hand

Being pulled down

Not making a sound

Lying helplessly on the ground

To be without love

Is to be dead inside

No life, no courage

No reason to cry.
