Be You

be who you want to be is what you're told.

without a real sense of knowing how,

it seems aimless and a shot into the stars.

wish your dreams into existence and chase them.

if you fall, fall forward.

we all don't want to be a nobody,

we can be someone.

the most important things in life we tend to forget,

lost in our insecurities and alter egos.

a umbrella drifting through a passing thunderstorm,

waiting for purpose to strike but it never hits just right.

leap like you've been able to jump bridges.

every limitation in our way is just a figure of imagination.
